Here is another contact dance move from the studio last spring. This photo has been really popular with a lot of promo material. Tabled Manners is a children's performance that has circulated to schools across Ontario.
I'd like someone to lift me up into the air one day ;)

How did you get that beautiful blue background? Was it a sheet or some special studio technique?

The blue background is a blue sheet we bored from a 'proper' photographer, the shadows in it are just the wrippling of the paper however the paper wasn't very big so I photoshopped the rest of the blue in. You'll see what I mean tomorrow....

your pictures are very vivid and vibrant, but your postprocessing needs a bit more retouching. there are white outlines all around the red pants; you probably colored her gloves blue. i can see the paint strokes above the dancers' heads. and the graininess of the picture is very obvious. not sure if that's your intention though.
